Cue the Intermache car park with a backpack of food ... I set off with my left foot pushing off on the pedal while throwing my right over the seat. The stress makes my chain come off, I fell onto the bike - knee on pedal, ear on front wheel - and I'm left bleeding on the car park tarmac with a couple of on rushing Frenchmen asking 'Ca va?'
Plus the force of ear on wheel buckled my front wheel
